平等&分享 Equality & Sharing

隨著貧窮線訂定後，政府的扶貧政策成為城中焦點，有說政府應該參照2011年的$6000計劃，向市民直接「派錢」；有說應該多建公屋，減輕貧窮人口的負擔。對於貧窮問題，政府可以訂立各式政策向有需要的人作出支援，那我們呢？究竟我們又可以做什麼？

After the establishment of the poverty line, the poverty policy of Hong Kong Government has been in the spotlight recently. Some said the government should resort to the Scheme $6000 in 2011 and give out cash directly to citizens. Some said more public housing estates should be constructed to relieve the financial burden of the poor. With regard to the poverty, the government can implement different policies to support the poverty population. What about us? What can we do to give them a helping hand?

有市民發起「平等分享行動」，希望以平等的角色，向社會有需要的人士分享他們的食物和物件，藉以反思個人與社區的聯繫。他們曾在今年中秋節舉行月餅收集活動，將市民捐出的月餅送到有需要人士手上，如長者和露宿者。他們亦會與街坊食肆合作，食肆售賣飯票，市民買了飯票後再轉贈區內有需要人士，在任何時間再憑票換取同等價值的食物。

An ‘Equal Share Actions’ was launched by a Hong Kong citizen in the hope of reflecting the connection between an individual and the community by sharing the food and objects to the needy in society in an equal role. In the last mid-autumn festival, they held a moon cake collection activity delivering the moon cakes donated by citizens to people in need such as the elderly and the homeless. In addition, they cooperate with small-scale restaurants. People are able to buy meal ticket from these restaurants and then pass the ticket to the needy in the community to redeem the ticket anytime for a meal with an equal value.

這些活動通常會在社交媒體Facebook宣傳，然後由市民自發將訊息透過Whatsapp轉寄，讓更多人知道活動詳情，Facebook上亦成立了專頁，列出加入售賣飯票的食肆資料，包括地址及飯票價錢。詳情可見：https://www.facebook.com/CareTheNeed

These events are usually promoted in social media like Facebook. Then, people will forward the message in Whatsapp to their friends so that more people will know the details of the activities. Also, there is a page on Facebook listing the information of restaurants selling meal ticket, including the address and the price of their meal ticket.
